Samsung is stopping its own messaging app

Samsung phones have always used their own messaging app called Samsung Messages. But it looks like it is going to stop using this app soon and replace it with something else.

According to 9to5mac, Samsung phones in the United States will no longer come with own messaging app. Instead, they will use Google’s messaging app when you first get the phone.

You can download the Messages app if you want to keep using it, but it might go away completely in the future. The Google Messages app is better at sending and receiving special kinds of texts called RCS. This makes it easier to talk to other people, no matter what kind of phone they have.
