Apple has just dropped a bunch of new public beta updates today. Public beta 3 is out now for macOS Sequoia 15.4, iPadOS 18.4, and a few others. Let’s dive into the specifics.
Apple Public beta 3 focuses on improving performance in macOS 15.4 and more
Yesterday, Apple released developer beta 3 for its upcoming software releases, focusing on improving performance in macOS 15.4 and more.
Following its typical pattern, Company has now released new public beta versions for many of the same software releases.
New public beta 3 software releases include:
- iOS 18.4
- iPadOS 18.4
- macOS Sequoia 15.4
- tvOS 18.4
- HomePod 18.4
- watchOS 11.4
The only platform that Apple does not currently offer public betas for is visionOS, which is receiving significant Intelligence enhancements in version 2.4.
A notable addition in macOS 15.4 beta 3 is the availability of the Sky Blue variant of the desktop wallpaper that was introduced with the M4 MacBook Air.
Overall, beta 3 doesn’t have many new features. Hopefully, users will notice smoother performance on their devices as Apple works on fixing bugs. However, it’s been tough to find any new features added.
These updates are expected to be available to all users in early April, so Apple still has time to make some big changes before focusing on bug fixes. Maybe beta 4 will bring more exciting updates in a week or two.
